For over thirty five years, DREMMWEL has been roaming Europe, arriving to play its Breton fest-noz music in concerts, pubs, theatres and festivals, of course in Brittany, then France, Belgium, Wales, Switzerland, Scotland, Austria,Netherlands, England and Germany and reaching north east USA ...
A couple of pipers got together then built up a quartet, experimenting for a few years before finding, thanks to the harp, a distinctive note among the other instruments, in the sound palette of the group ...
A stunning variety of places visited, musical colours constantly renewed, spontaneous collaborations with
artists of various lands, an absorbing, dynamic repertoire with deep roots .
DREMMWEL continues its musical journey, constantly thirsty for adventure !

Dremmwel and Klervi Rivière had the pleasure of taking part, on Monday January 2, on board the "Pont-Aven" in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Brittany Ferries Company, which considers that the group's music has been broadcast for years in passenger cabins has enchanted the ears of some 24 million holidaymakers on the sea routes of Brittany, Normandy, Ireland, Spain and England. Thank you very much to the entire English and Breton team who contributed, through their delicate attention, to the success of our concerts on board.
Dremmwel and Klervi Rivière played this weekend in two mythical and effervescent places. The magnificent Ty Théâtre de Gouesnac'h administered by Catherine and Gilles Martinet is a place to discover absolutely. Creators of the "Compagnie Margoden", they participated in the concert by surprisingly bringing their puppets to life on a few tracks. Another atmosphere on Sunday afternoon at the Chez Cathy café-concerts in St Guénolé. A crowded room and a very receptive public who did not hide their pleasure. We opened our travel diary, talked about our travels and impossible stories, artists from all walks of life who have influenced us, from South America, Scotland, blues, Barzaz Breizh, Jef Le Penven, great collectors and of course our Breton adventures which now continue in the company of Klervi Rivière, a magnificent interpreter of a very touching Breton language.
Dremmwel and Ismael Ledesma played played in the new cultural center of Crozon: The meeting between Breton and Guarani cultures.
